PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength while reducing a basis weight and reducing the amount of a binder adhered thereto.SOLUTION: There are stacked a short chopped strand layer including first glass chopped strands having average length of 1-3 inches and a long chopped strand layer including second glass chopped strands having average length of 3-8 inches. Difference in average length between the first glass chopped strands and the second glass chopped strands should be 1 inch or more. Based on 100 pts.mass of a glass chopped strand mat, there should be 50-70 pts.mass of the short chopped strand layer and 30-50 pts.mass of the long chopped strand layer. The mass of the glass chopped strand mat per unit area should be 180 g/mor less. The ignition loss of the glass chopped strand mat should be less than 10% as measured in accordance with JIS R3420.
