PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumable electrode type arc welder (wire feeding control method) capable of switching easily whether variable adjustment of wire operation speed upon arc start is performed or not.;SOLUTION: Such a constitution is applied that, concerning descending speed when a wire is allowed to descend so as to make contact once with a welding object upon arc start, it is determined by an operation mode of a torch switch that which mode is to be selected from between the mode (variable mode) in which the speed is changed to speed V0-Vx corresponding to the welding state at that time and the mode (fixed mode) in which the speed is fixed at speed V0 set beforehand regardless of the welding state at that time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
