PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of calculating a production heat amount with good accuracy while suppressing failure of sensors, even during heating operation time of an air heat source heat pump.;SOLUTION: A calculation method includes: an absolute humidity acquisition step of acquiring absolute humidity of sucked air and absolute humidity of blowout air, based on temperature of the sucked air, temperature of the blowout air, temperature of outdoor unit peripheral air in a predetermined outdoor unit peripheral part, which is in the periphery of the outdoor unit and which is separated from an outlet and a suction port, and relative humidity measured at the same timing; a determination step of selecting one of a temperature difference and an enthalpy difference between the sucked air and the blowout air and determining it to be a calculation parameter for calculating a production heat amount, based on a magnitude relation between the absolute humidity of the sucked air and the absolute humidity of the blowout air acquired in the absolute humidity acquisition step; and a production heat amount calculation step of calculating a production heat amount based on the calculation parameter determined in the determination step and an air amount of a fan.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
