PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for producing a hydrocarbon from a synthesis gas which can be stably used even under high CO conversion ratio conditions in which a large amount of by-product water is generated by improving durability, especially enhancing water resistance of a catalyst for producing a hydrocarbon from a synthesis gas, and to provide a method for producing the catalyst, a method for producing a hydrocarbon using the catalyst and a catalyst carrier using the catalyst.;SOLUTION: There is provided a catalyst prepared by supporting a metal-based compound on a catalyst carrier mainly composed of silica having a rhenium content of 0.1 to 5.0 mass% as a catalyst for producing a hydrocarbon from a synthesis gas, wherein the impurity content of sodium, calcium and magnesium in the catalyst is 0.15 mass% or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
