PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing which has low torque at a use even when a supply amount of a lubricant is small while increase in working equipment cost is suppressed, and to provide a method of manufacturing the roller bearing and an apparatus for manufacturing the roller] bearing.;SOLUTION: The roller bearing comprises: an inner ring 3 having an inner ring raceway surface 11 at an external peripheral face; an outer ring 5 having an outer ring raceway surface 13 at an internal peripheral face; a plurality of tapered rollers 7 which are arranged in a freely rollable manner between the inner ring raceway surface 11 and the outer ring raceway surface 13; and a cage 9 which holds the tapered rollers 7. A rib part 17 having a rib face 19 sliding with large-diameter side end faces 21 of the plurality of tapered rollers 7 is formed over the inner ring 3 in a peripheral direction, and a large number of recesses 23 having substantially-circular opening parts which are formed by irradiation with a pulsed laser beam of a nano-minute order are formed at least at one of the large-diameter side end faces 21 of the plurality of tapered rollers 7 and the rib face 19 of the rib part 17 at constant intervals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
