PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power supply device capable of detecting a metallic foreign substance between a power transmission coil and a power reception coil.SOLUTION: The non-contact power supply device, for supplying power in a non-contact manner from a power transmission coil 31 installed on the ground side to a power reception coil 32 of a moving body stopped at a power supply position, includes, on the ground side, an inverter 20 for outputting a high frequency alternating current to the power transmission coil 31, and a metal detection determination processing unit 40 for detecting a metal foreign substance on the power transmission coil. The metal detection determination processing unit 40 monitors a voltage and a current phase output from the inverter 20 to the power transmission coil 31, to detect a metal foreign substance contaminated during the power supply, on the basis of the phase change. The non-contact power supply device can detect a metallic foreign substance using measurement data on the ground side only, in a state that the moving body stops at the power supply position, and thus a simplified system can be achieved.
