PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water sediment remover and water sediment removing method, for making it possible to simply and safely remove water bottom sediment.;SOLUTION: There are provided: a water sediment remover 1 comprising a water feed pump 2, a water feed hose 3 extending from the water feed pump 2, a forked nozzle 4 attached to a tip of the water feed hose 3, and a suction pipe 5 having an inlet and an outlet; and a water sediment removing method using the water sediment remover. The forked nozzle 4 of the water sediment remover comprises: a first nozzle for ejecting water in the water bottom direction; a second nozzle in the suction pipe 5 for ejecting water toward the outlet; and a switching valve for performing switching between a state of ejecting water from the first nozzle and a state of ejecting water from the second nozzle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
