PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating an Environmental Genetic Composite Index (EGCI) score for a disease or condition for an individual.SOLUTION: A method may comprise generating a genomic profile from a genetic sample of the individual; obtaining at least one environmental factor from the individual; generating an EGCI score from the genomic profile and at least one environmental factor; and, reporting the EGCI score to the individual or a health care manager of the individual. The method can further comprise updating the EGCI score with additional or modified environmental factors. The EGCI score is computed by a computer and the results can be obtained and outputted by the computer.
