PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a maintenance service provider to learn whether or not a message transmitted from a remote area from the maintenance service provider has been browsed by an end user in an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: While a message screen based on message data received from a remote maintenance server 3 on a maintenance service provider side is displayed on an operation panel 11, when the operation panel 11 receives a user operation to end the display, an agent unit 25 (a) creates browsing confirmation data indicating that the user has browsed the message screen and transmits the data to the remote maintenance server 3, (b) registers another electronic apparatus (image forming apparatus 1P) in sub machine settings on the basis of the user operation, and (c) when the other electronic apparatus is registered in the sub machine settings, upon reception of the message data, transmits the message data immediately to the other electronic apparatus.
