PANTAGRAPH VERTEX COVER AND PANTAGRAPH HAVING VERTEX COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a collector shoe lifting power in a flare direction by reducing aerodynamic sound and attenuating fluctuation in collector shoe lifting power in a single arm type pantagraph.;SOLUTION: A vertex cover 1 covers a vertex part of an upper frame 3 of a single arm type pantagraph. This vertex cover 1 comprises an upper frame side cover 11 and a shoe side cover 12. The upper frame side cover 11 is fixed on the upper frame 3. The shoe side cover 12 moves together with a collector shoe 2. The upper frame side cover 11 has an opening 111. The shoe side cover 12 comes into contact with the bottom of the collector shoe 2 and is fitted in the opening 111. The upper frame 3 and the upper frame side cover 11 keep an undulation angle α varied with vertical displacement of the collector shoe 2. The collector shoe 2 and the shoe side cover 12 make angles relative to a level constant regardless of the undulation angle α of the upper frame 3. Thus, the shoe side cover 12 blocks a gap between the collector shoe 2 and the upper frame side cover 11 regardless of the undulation angle α of the upper frame 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
