PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function for calculating the equivalent operation time or remaining life of a power unit and the components thereof.SOLUTION: In an equivalent operation time calculation method of a power device including a power unit, an information communication device, and a communication device for monitoring the situation of the information communication device, the power device detects the ambient temperature of a component constituting the power unit, calculates the equivalent operation time on the basis of the ambient temperature thus detected, and transfers the equivalent operation time thus calculated and the ID of the information communication device to the communication device. The communication device integrates the equivalent operation time thus transferred, extracts a predetermined life time corresponding to the ID of the information communication device thus transferred from a storage unit, compares the predetermined design operation time thus extracted with the equivalent operation time thus integrated, generates the comparison result and displays the comparison result.
