PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide remote access to a state of an application via a computer network.SOLUTION: A method for providing remote access to a state of an application includes: a step of executing an application program in a server. In a client, a remote access program is executed, and a client difference program in which data indicating change of the state of the application finally received from the server are encoded is generated, and transmitted to the server. In the server, the client difference program is executed, and a server difference program is generated. Then, the server difference program is transmitted to the client, and executed for update of the state of the application finally received from the server in the client. Also, view data following hardware capability of the client is generated.
