PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing recommended book information without receiving any influence from a reader's search keyword setting skill when a purchaser receives a recommendation for an electronic book.;SOLUTION: An electronic book recommendation method using a bibliographic information database for storing bibliographic information including a feature word is executed by procedures including: a marker data creation step that a browsing terminal accepts a marker that a browser has entered in an electronic book, and creates marker data including a character string of a portion where the marker is drawn, and transmits the marker data to a recommendation server device; a feature word extraction step that the recommendation server device extracts the feature word from the character string of the marker data; a bibliographic information search step that the recommendation server device searches bibliographic information by referring to the bibliographic information database by using the feature word; a recommended book information transmission step that the recommendation server device transmits the searched bibliographic information as recommended book information to the browsing terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
