PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemiluminescent COD measurement device and measurement method in which correlation with an official method of analysis is heightened.;SOLUTION: Provided is a chemiluminescent COD measurement device characterized in being provided with: a first reaction path in which a sample solution containing an organic substance and potassium permanganate as an oxidizer are circulated and the organic substance and the potassium permanganate are reacted; a second reaction path in which unreacted potassium permanganate having passed through the first reaction path and a chemiluminescence-possible substance are circulated and the unreacted potassium permanganate is reacted with the chemiluminescence-possible substance; a third reaction path in which unreacted chemiluminescence-possible substance and potassium permanganate having passed through the second reaction path are circulated, and the unreacted chemiluminescence-possible substance is made to react; a light detection unit for detecting the intensity of chemiluminescence due to a reaction product of the chemiluminescence-possible substance and potassium permanganate that was produced in the third reaction path; and an arithmetic unit for calculating a COD value from the luminous intensity detected by the light detection unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
