PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for fly casting that facilitates accurate fly casting by using a fly rod, and also to provide a fly rod having the support device.;SOLUTION: The support device includes: an arm support tool 3 which has a connection part 30 for freely attachably/detachably connect to a rod end part 2a of a fly rod 2, which takes a posture extended rearward from the rod end part 2a when connected thereto, and which is thereby capable of supporting a forearm FA of a hand holding the fly rod 2; and a fixture 4 which is for fixing the arm support tool 3 closely to the forearm FA of the hand. In a state in which the fly rod 2 is held by one hand and in which the arm support tool 3 is fixed by the fixture 4 to the forearm FA of the hand holding the fly rod 2, the connection part 30 is configured to be able to release the connection state of the fly rod 2 with the arm support tool 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
