PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-treated pigment which is useful as a coloring agent for a color filter and an inkjet ink, can improve performance such as hue range expansion, color density, color development, and transparency, and is excellent in properties such as pigment dispersibility, dispersion stability, redissolvability, and alkali solubility.;SOLUTION: Provided is an A-B block copolymer, 90 mass% or more of which is constituted by methacrylate-based monomers. The A contains a methacrylate having a carboxyl group as a constituent.
