PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member capable of minimizing accumulation of heat due to energy loss or energy absorption caused during wavelength conversion.;SOLUTION: A wavelength conversion member 5 includes: a wavelength conversion substance 8 which responds to irradiation of excitation light P1 to generate light in a wavelength region different from the wavelength region of the excitation light P1; a first filter F1 which is disposed on an incident side of the excitation light P1, which transmits the excitation light P1, and which includes, at least a part thereof, a transmission region that selectively transmits visible light in a predetermined wavelength region as selected light P2 in the generated light in the above mentioned wavelength region, in a direction from the incident side of the excitation light, while reflecting other light as non-selected light P3 than the selected light; and a second filter F2 which is disposed on an opposite side of the wavelength conversion substance 8 to the first filter F1 and includes, at least a part thereof, a reflective region that reflects at least the selected light P2 and transmits the non-selected light P3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
