PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of optical wavelength conversion particles, by which optical wavelength conversion particles having excellent heat resistance and moisture heat resistance, a small average particle diameter and little variation in the particle diameter can be obtained, optical wavelength conversion particles having excellent heat resistance and moisture heat resistance and showing good dispersibility, an optical wavelength conversion particle-containing composition comprising the above optical wavelength conversion particles, and an optical wavelength conversion member, an optical wavelength conversion sheet, a backlight device and an image display device including a cured product of the above optical wavelength conversion particle-containing composition.;SOLUTION: A production method of optical wavelength conversion particles 1 comprising light-transmitting resin particles 2 and quantum dots 3 encapsulated in the resin particles 2 is provided, in which suspension polymerization is carried out by mixing a solution comprising a suspension stabilizer and having a viscosity of 0.02 Pa s or more and 10 Pa s or less at 25°C with a mixture comprising the quantum dots 3, a polymerizable compound, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a sulfur-containing compound, a phosphorus-containing compound, a nitrogen-containing compound, and carboxylic acid, and a polymerization initiator.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
