PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a decolorable electrophotographic toner having high print density.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a decolorable electrophotographic toner includes a step of melt-kneading and pulverizing a mixture including (i) a binder resin, (ii) an encapsulated near-infrared absorption pigment or non-encapsulated near-infrared absorption pigment, and (iii) an encapsulated decoloring agent or non-encapsulated decoloring agent, where at least one of the near-infrared absorption pigment and decoloring agent is encapsulated, so as to obtain toner particles.
