PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method which correctly evaluate bit pressing force and facilitate unified understanding of several geological investigation results.;SOLUTION: A bedrock property prediction system comprises: a rock drill 12; a pressing force measuring device which measures pressing force when pressed against bedrock by the rock drill 12; a correction device which corrects a set value of hydraulic pressure set for the rock drill 12 depending on a drilling direction on the basis of a relation, between the pressing force and the hydraulic pressure, obtained from the pressing force measured by the pressing force measuring device and the hydraulic pressure of the rock drill 12; a measuring device which measures the hydraulic pressure of the rock drill 12 when the same drills bedrock on the basis of the corrected set value; and an information processing device which calculates energy, required for drilling a unit volume of the bedrock, necessary for predicting strength of the bedrock using hydraulic data on the measured hydraulic pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
