PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of accurately or efficiently moving an object as a movement object to a target position or selecting an object distant from a current position of a pointing device without much moving the pointing device from the current position.SOLUTION: The technique includes: displaying at least one frame in a display screen frame or its neighborhood in response to an instruction from a user; taking, as an origin, a current position of an object at the time of receiving the instruction from the user and moving the frame so that it converges to the origin; in response to short-distance movement of the object, selecting an intersection between a half line connecting the origin as an end point and a position of a destination of the short-distance movement between the end point and the object and the frame, as a movement destination of the object; and moving the object to the intersection and displaying the object there.
