PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit instrument support and movement system in a narrow expansion gap part, which can make a property survey (mainly, a survey of corrosion due to salt damage) on a bridge girder end of an elevated road having only a narrow expansion gap of, for example, around 2-5 cm at a periphery, and perform repair construction based upon the survey result thereof or processing on a surface facing such a narrow expansion gap.;SOLUTION: There is provided a unit instrument support and movement system comprising elevation means 22 for supporting and elevating, in a narrow expansion gap 82, a unit instrument 1 arranged in the narrow expansion gap 82, for surveying, repairing, or processing the top surface and/or the inside of a surface facing the narrow expansion gap 82, and horizontal movement means 21 which is arranged below the narrow expansion gap 82, for movably supporting the elevation means 22 in a horizontal direction.
