PIEZO-ELECTRIC TYPE VIBRATION SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezo-electric type vibration sensor with satisfactorily high sensitivity to vibration sounds due to water leakage from a synthetic resin pipe etc.;SOLUTION: A piezo-electric type vibration sensor 1 includes: a base 11; piezoelectric element layers 21 and 22 supported by the base 11 for converting the vibration sounds into an electric signal; and a weight 14 for giving a load to the piezoelectric element layers 21 and 22. The piezoelectric element layers 21 and 22 are laminated on the top and bottom faces of a reinforcement layer 23. A laminate 12 of the piezoelectric element layers 21 and 22 and the reinforcement layer 23 is supported by the base 11 at the end thereof via a post 13. The weight 14 is located at a portion of the laminate 12 where is not supported by the post 13 to give a load.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
