PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a carburized depth that easily and highly accurately evaluates the occurrence/non-occurrence and the depth of carburization, and a method for evaluating a lifetime using the evaluation result by the method for evaluating the carburization depth.;SOLUTION: A carburization depth evaluation method according to the present invention includes the steps of: creating Lissajous waveform on the basis of an impedance variation of a probe of an eddy current flaw detection test device; identifying an amplitude and a phase of the Lissajous waveform; and previously preparing a map formed by associating a relationship between a carburization depth and the amplitude and phase of the Lissajous waveform, comparing the identified amplitude and phase, and obtaining the carburization depth.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
