PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing regular hexahedral or octahedral ferrite nanoparticles having superparamagnetic properties or ferrimagnetic properties.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing regular hexahedral or octahedral ferrite nanoparticles which comprises a step of heating a mixture of a metal precursor, a surfactant and a solvent, where the metal precursor is a mixture of an iron precursor and any one selected from the group consisting of a cobalt precursor, a manganese precursor, a nickel precursor and a barium precursor and the surfactant is any one selected from the group consisting of a carboxylic acid, an alkyl amine, an alkyl alcohol and an alkyl phosphine or a mixture thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
