METHOD OF CALCULATING CENTER LINE OF TRUCK AND FACILITY FOR CALCULATING CENTER LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of calculating a center line of a truck, configured to improve work efficiency in the whole measurement steps of the truck, while maintaining work accuracy, and to provide a facility for calculating the center line.;SOLUTION: A method of calculating a center line of a truck performs sequentially: a contact step of bringing a member with a target part mounted thereon, which includes the target part for reflecting light, into contact with a wheel of a stopped truck; an irradiation step of emitting light by use of optical system means toward the member with the target part mounted thereon; a coordinate decision step of deciding a coordinate position of the target part on the basis of data on the light reflected from the target part; and a center line calculation step of calculating a center line of the truck from the decided coordinate position.
