PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel tridentate ligand rhodium complex capable of providing a substituted polyacetylene derivative having a helical structure, and useful particularly as a polymerization initiator of a substituted acetylene.;SOLUTION: The tridentate ligand rhodium complex is represented by formula (1) wherein R¹ is a 1-5C linear or branched alkyl group or an aryl group; R² and R³ are a 1-5C linear or branched alkyl group or an aryl group, and R² and R³ are not identical; Z is a 3-6C alkylene group; X is NH or O; and * is an asymmetric carbon atom.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
