PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a shut-down temperature of a separator capable of stably measuring the shut-down temperature.SOLUTION: The method for measuring the shut-down temperature of the separator includes: a specimen preparation step for assembling a specimen by the disposition of a separator 30 and an electrolytic solution on a measurement jig 10 including a conductive first member 11, a conductive second member 12 having a groove 120a formed on the periphery of a measurement region, a seal member 13 fit to the groove 120a and a conductive spacer 15; and a step for measuring the electric resistance of a current flowing between the first member 11 and the second member 12, in the measurement region through the electrolytic solution and the spacer 15, while changing the temperature of the separator 30.
