PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a nickel-based superalloy achieving working at a temperature higher than that compared with the conventional one, and simultaneously, to improve its mechanical resistance and chemical resistance.;SOLUTION: The nickel-based superalloy particularly suitable for the fabrication of mechanical components for a piece of turbomachinery is characterized in that it comprises, as constituting elements, at least the following elements in percentage by weight: chromium between 3% and 7%; tungsten between 3% and 15%; tantalum between 4% and 6%; aluminum between 4% and 8%; carbon less than 0.8%; the remaining percentage of nickel plus impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
