PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering material for a bag filter facilitating dust removing work.SOLUTION: The filtering material includes a base material layer 10 having air permeability, a dust-catching nano fiber layer 20 comprising dust-catching nano fibers, and a joining member 30 joining the base material layer 10 to the dust-catching nano fiber layer 20. At least one kind of conductive material is fitted to the dust-catching nano fiber layer 20, and the base material layer 10 is joined to the dust-catching conjugate nano fiber layer 20 by the joining member 30. By this configuration, conductivity is imparted to the dust-catching nano fiber layer 20, and static electricity is hardly accumulated on the filtering material 1A for the bag filter by electrically grounding the dust-catching nano fiber layer 20, so that the dust removing work is facilitated.
