PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe the normal living activities of an organism in a good accuracy by keeping the pH value of a medium as a constant state.;SOLUTION: A culturing device 2 for microscopic observations is provided by housing a culturing container 8 for housing culturing liquid 7 and an organism specimen 6 as a state of blocking from an outer atmosphere and including a chamber 10 including transparent parts 13, 17 for transmitting light for the observations by the microscopic observations, a mixed gas-supplying device 20 for supplying CO₂-mixed gas used for the culturing of the organism specimen 6 into the chamber 10, a pH sensor 30 for detecting the pH value of the culturing liquid 7 in the culturing container 8, and a controlling part 40 for regulating the concentration of the CO₂-mixed gas of the CO₂-mixed gas-supplying device 20 so that the pH value of the culturing liquid 7 detected by the pH sensor 30 becomes approximately a constant state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
