PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor mite-repelling efficacy promotor, which is blended in an indoor mite-repelling composition containing a specific indoor mite-repelling component and which can remarkably improve an indoor mite-repelling effect of the indoor mite-repelling component against Acarina Acaridae, Acarina Epidermoptidae, Tarsonemidae, Cheyletidae, and the like; and to provide an indoor mite-repelling method using the same.;SOLUTION: The indoor mite-repelling efficacy promotor comprises an aliphatic carboxylic acid ester compound which, as a total of an acid portion and an alcohol portion, has 14 to 23 carbon atoms, and is blended into an indoor mite-repelling composition containing a salicylic acid ester-based compound and/or a benzoic acid ester-based compound as an indoor mite-repelling component. As the aliphatic carboxylic acid ester compound, preferable is one or two or more kinds selected from octyl caprylate, butyl caprate, heptyl caprate, isopropyl laurate, propyl laurate, butyl laurate, isopropyl myristate, propyl myristate, butyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, heptyl palmitate, isopropyl stearate, isopropyl isostearate, ethyl linoleate, and isopropyl linoleate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
