PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional Japanese input system aims at accurate and quick input of Japanese sentences while having no function of improving various problems of Katakana words and fluctuation, which are recently increasing, but it should be responsible for the problems as the input system for a writing means. PSOLUTION: A new Japanese input system includes three-language input/output modes (ML modes) to enable input of English, Katakana words, and Roman alphabet in addition to the conventional kana and symbols input, thereby achieving compatibility between Japanese and English while reducing the use of Katakana words and fluctuations. Multi-language output is also enabled, and voice thereof can be output, so that Japanese user becomes interested in English and other languages. The globally compatible Japanese input system is available for foreign users only for the purpose of single-word level operation.
