PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further simplify composition or separation of an insertion image to an original image.SOLUTION: An image composition processing device compositing at least one insertion image into an original image has: an embedded image producing part inserting a predetermined code element that is blocked so as to have the same data amount as a data amount of the respective elements at a position adjacent in a predetermined direction to a position of the respective elements that are quantization data of a blocked insertion image to produce an embedded image; a decompressed original image producing part duplicating the respective elements of the quantization data of the original image to decompress the original image in the predetermined direction and produce a decompressed original image, for the purpose of performing composition while making one of the elements included in the quantization data of the blocked original image correspond to each of an element of the insertion image included in the embedded image and the code element inserted into the element; and a composition image producing part compositing the respective elements included in the embedded image with the respective elements included in the decompressed original image according to a predetermined composition condition to produce a composition image.
