PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasification melting furnace that can prevent clinker from adhering to a wall surface in a furnace.;SOLUTION: In a vertical type waste gasification melting furnace, a high-temperature combustion zone is formed on a coke floor where cork is accumulated at the bottom of the furnace, a waste layer is formed by accumulating wastes input from a furnace top part on the high-temperature combustion zone, the wastes are thermally decomposed and gasified in the waste layer, and a pyrolysis residue of the waste in the high-temperature combustion zone is melted. The vertical type waste gasification melting furnace includes a gas injection pipe 5 for injecting gas toward the furnace in a direction having a tangent direction composition from a plurality of positions in the circumference of the furnace within a range up to 1.5m high from a height position of a tuyere, from which an oxigen-containing gas is supplied to the waste layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
