PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide senescence models of a nonhuman animal and a cell being usable for screening of curative medicines and diagnostic agents and senescence research.;SOLUTION: A knockout mouse of STAM1 gene that shows symptoms like the osteoporosis is minutely analyzed and it is clarified that, besides the osseous anomaly, the knockout mouse has various aging-related symptoms such as the thymic atrophy.
