PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which properly displays annotation on a map image.;SOLUTION: A map image display device displaying a map image on a display unit comprises: a map image acquisition unit for acquiring a map image to be displayed on a display unit; a determination unit for determining whether disposition of annotation for displaying geographical information do not satisfy predetermined disposition conditions in the acquired map image; an information acquisition unit for acquiring geographical information different from annotation on the basis of a determination resu and an annotation addition unit for displaying the acquired geographical information on the map image as annotation on the display unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
