PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo matching processor, a stereo matching processing method and a program that can increase speed in processing when determining corresponding points for imaging the same point from stereo images to calculate parallax.SOLUTION: A stereo matching processor 100 includes: a parallax calculation section 30 for specifying pairs of mutually corresponding points in the stereo images to calculate the parallax for each pair; an image division section 40 for dividing the stereo images; a parallax search range setting section 50 for specifying the pair of the corresponding points existing in each divided portion for each divided portion and specifying a maximum value and a minimum value of the parallax in each divided portion on the basis of a parallax value calculated for the specified pair to set a parallax search range; and a parallax calculation section 60 for newly specifying a plurality of pairs of corresponding points for each divided portion, calculating parallax for each newly specified pair and outputting the calculated parallax as the parallax of the newly specified pair in each divided portion when the parallax value is within the parallax search range of the divided portion.
