PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost and prevent a reduction in space inside a ship.SOLUTION: A ship remodeling method for remodeling a ship into a frictional resistance reduction ship includes the steps of: installing an air supply part (a blower and air supply piping) on the inside of a hull outside a ballast tank 50 provided in the ship; mounting an air blow part (chamber 2) for blowing the air to the outside of the hull, inside the ballast tank 50; and connecting the air supply part and the air blow part together after the respective steps.
