PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering copper sulfate, with which copper sulfate with little impurity is recovered from a copper sulfate waste liquid including impurities, such as iron and nickel, discharged from steps of electrorefining, copper foil production, copper plating, and so on, and to provide an apparatus for recovering copper sulfate.;SOLUTION: The method for recovering copper sulfate includes: an impurity deposition step to deposit the impurities by adding a pH adjuster to the copper sulfate waste liquid including the impurities and adjusting the pH of the copper sulfate waste liquid to a value within a range of 3.5-5.0; an impurity separation step to separate the impurities deposited from the copper sulfate waste liquid; a copper adsorption step to adsorb copper by making the copper sulfate waste liquid from which the impurities have been separated pass through a hydrogen type chelate resin; and a copper sulfate recovery step to recover a copper sulfate solution by making sulfuric acid pass through the chelate resin with copper adsorbed thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
