PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biofilm removing agent effectively removing a biofilm, a composition for removing the biofilm and a method for removing the biofilm.;SOLUTION: The biofilm removing agent includes a compound represented by general formula (1), wherein R¹ is an alkyl group of 14-20 carbons of a straight chain or a branched chain, R² is -(C_mH_2mO)_nH, m is an integer of 2-4, n is an arbitrary integer, and X^- is Cl^-, F^-, Br^-, I^- or CH₃C₆H₄SO₃^-.
