PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overprint varnish for being coated on a bar code printed directly on the surface of a metal substrate, a laminate using the overprint varnish, and a PTP package.SOLUTION: An overprint varnish having light transmissivity mainly comprises a resin component being coated on a bar code printed directly on the surface of a metal substrate, and is prepared by mixing talc and/or silica and a pigment comprising a white inorganic pigment other than the talc and silica. The overprint varnish provides a white color.
