VIABLE PARTICLE COUNTING METHOD, VIABLE PARTICLE COUNTER, AND PURE WATER MONITORING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for counting the individual number of viable particles included in water which is subjected to pure water treatment as a blue-green algae or other kind of an algae.;SOLUTION: Water is acquired from a water source 502 at a water purification plant or the like, and chlorine is injected at a chlorine injection facility 512 (coagulant injection facility 508), then the water is passed through a settling basin 510 and a filtration basin 514 and after passing of predetermined time, the water is distributed to a viable particle counter 550. Light in a predetermined wavelength is radiated to the distributed water, and fluorescence emitted by the viable particles included in the water by action of the light is selectively separated and received. Based on intensity of the received fluorescence, the number of the respective viable particles is counted as a blue-green algae or other kind of an algae.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
