PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dropping device (a method) capable of making a mission-finished space structure drop and disappear toward the earth in an early stage.;SOLUTION: A thin film 11 and a convex tape 25 are wound around the central axis 21 inside a case 20 to be reduced and stored in a storage part. When space structure-dropping time arrives, the thin film 11 and the convex tape 25 are made to escape from the case 20 by a command from a command part, and the thin film 11 is largely spread and expanded in a space by extending the convex tape 25 by spring force of itself. Thus, an earth-revolving speed of the space structure is gradually reduced by gas resistance of a gas existing in the space in an extremely low concentration received by the thin film 11, and the space structure is dropped toward the earth and is made to burn up and disappear by frictional heat with the atmosphere in atmosphere entry time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
