PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum error correction method.;SOLUTION: The method for correcting errors in data qubits on sides of a lattice structure includes the steps of: preparing Z error syndromes in first Z error qubits at vertices of the structure; copying the Z error syndromes to second Z error qubits; cooling the second Z error qubits and cooling qubits under Z-error-syndrome-dependent Hamiltonians; feeding quantum states of the cooling qubits back to the data qubits; preparing X error syndromes in first X error qubits at face centers of the structure; copying the X error syndromes to second X error qubits; cooling the second X error qubits and the cooling qubits under X-error-syndrome-dependent Hamiltonians; and feeding quantum states of the cooling qubits back to the data qubits.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
