PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic photo creation device that allows easy selection of desired pen settings as well as reset to previously selected pen settings.SOLUTION: The automatic photo creation device has a touch panel 400 on which to perform edit operations such as for scribbling on a taken image. The display screen displays normal palette areas 402L and 402R which include tools such as stamp images as well as pen-dedicated palette areas 403L and 403R which include multiple tools 406L and 406R indicating pen types. The pen-dedicated palette allows easy selection of desired pen settings. For example, since operation inputs in the normal palette area 402L do not affect the pen-dedicated palette area 403L, pen settings that were previously selected can be easily restored.
