PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance welder having a simple configuration, easily and accurately determining whether a joining state of welded materials is good or not during welding, and capable of taking measures against a disturbance which prevents the good joining state when it is determined that the joining state of the welded materials is not good.;SOLUTION: The resistance welder includes: electrodes 1, 2 pressurizing the plurality of materials W to be welded; a power supply device 3; and a control device 4 for performing control to successfully join the materials W to be welded. The control device 4 includes: a means 5 for detecting melting start timing of the materials W to be welded; and a timer 6 comparing the detected melting start timing of the materials W to be welded with predetermined melting start timing of the materials W to be welded, determining whether the joining state of the materials W to be welded is good or not, on the basis of whether the difference of the both timing is within a preset range or not, and changing a welding condition when it is determined that the joining state of the welded materials W is not good.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
