PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance welding method, by which quality stabilization or efficiency in resistance welding such as spot welding is improved.;SOLUTION: The resistance welding method includes: a calculation step of calculating a resistance ratio X (R2/R1) from a first electric resistance value R1 of a to-be-welded material, which is measured just before completion of Joule heating and from a second electric resistance value R2 of a to-be-welded material in a remaining state of heat; a determining step of comparing the resistance ratio X with a predetermined threshold Xn and making determination; and a re-heating step of conducting Joule heating again when the resistance ratio X is smaller than the threshold Xn. Thereby, a nugget is certainly formed which is formed by melting and solidification of at least a part of a weld portion of a to-be-welded material, so that a welded member that is subjected to stable resistance welding is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
