PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-learning system that helps a participant to think about an answer to a free input question by participant's own effort and to input the answer and that enables an appropriate evaluation and determination result for the answer to be obtained.;SOLUTION: An e-learning system comprises: a question and answer processing unit 12 that provides a question by obtaining a free input question recorded in a question DB 15 and displaying the question on a client terminal 3 of a participant and that receives an input of a first answer from the participant and records the input in an answer DB 16; a determination processing unit 13 that receives a result of a self-determination performed by the participant on the first answer via the client terminal 3 and that records the result in a determination DB 17. When the participant performs a self-determination, the system obtains comment information concerning the free input question recorded in the question DB 15 and displays the comment information on the client terminal 3. Further, the system displays a list of a second answer of other participant to the free input question and a result of self-determination performed by the other participant on the second answer, in response to a request from the participant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
