PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon fiber composite material, and a carbon fiber composite material using carbon nanofiber and carbon black, and to provide an oil field apparatus using a carbon fiber composite material.;SOLUTION: The method for producing a carbon fiber composite material includes a step (a), a step (b) and a step (c). In the step (a), after carbon nanofiber 80 is mixed in a first elastomer 30, the mixture is refined at 0°C to 50°C by use of open rolls 2 having a roll nip d of 0.5 mm or less to obtain a first composite elastomer. In the step (b), carbon black is mixed in a second elastomer to obtain a second composite elastomer.
